Each design in this series depicts a woman in half-length portrait format together with either a man or a child. This woman’s “favorite thing” is food. Curiously, no food appears in the design, although the male (wakashu) holds a toothpick in his mouth and appears somewhat annoyed. All eight designs from the series are presently known. This is the only design of the series that does not appear in any known institutional collections, though it is described in the reference above.
